When I studied abroad during my junior year in college, the only expectation I had was that I remain abroad until the program end-date. Of course, I had to maintain a decent grade point average. Beyond that, I shifted my mindset from high anxiety achievement to being fully present in each moment during the four-month program.

The journey was rewarding, filled with challenges and in the first week I learned I had to change an entire routine in order to adjust to what I observed about how life was lived. More than two decades later, this journey continues, featuring local life in a small village, not far from where I studied abroad. Studying abroad has the potential to change your life. And you can you can do this with Intention! I support groups of students studying abroad in the Greater Copenhagen area in Denmark, Europe.
In monthly virtual gatherings we explore the various stages of studying abroad and what it means for each individual on the journey. During this interactive course of reflection, you will develop a unique and nuanced narrative of how study abroad is changing your life. The more you make sense of the experience while abroad, the sooner you will be able to reap the benefits of applying what you learn. Start writing your story TODAY!
